A short STORY

In  land of stuff blobs float by and every thing is opposite even you. You walk if you can on your head and you talk backwards. Water falls up and when glass shatters the shards disappear.

Imagine that you are Mr Mandela and you are in prison.

Prison is dreadful the food is rotten and the water is old. The cells are small and made from concrete and you sleep on the floor. You get bored in five seconds. Your room mates are  bigger and tougher than you.

Charity

The  charity I chose is the SPCA because the help animals and STUFF. I also like how they take animals away from BAD owners and then give the to other people who'll look after them.

I also liked the Drone footage. I liked the good message the song gave. You really stuck to the theme Our Place by singing about your school.

Scorpion report

Scorpions 

The Scorpion is a horror in a Scorpion way. Scorpions are living invertebrates-No backbone. They are social arachnids. Scorpions live for 5 years in the wild.
 Habitat 
 Scorpions live in most countries. Scorpions like the warmth. Since Scorpions like the warmth they can often be found sunbathing on rocks enjoying the heat.
 Features 
Scorpions have many different features from their tail to their head. Starting with the tail. Scorpions tail curves over their back like an unfolding fern. At the end of the tail there is a sharp stinger. Scorpions have 8 legs. At the front there are crab like pincers. Scorpions move at around 12mph. They can go much faster if they have to.
 Food & Sleep
 Scorpions are Carnivores. If scorpions can’t find any food they can slow down the process they use to get energy from food. Scorpions sleep during the night.
 Jobs 
 Scorpions have a very important role-Controlling insect population. Predators The Scorpions have some weird predators. Their is the Snake, Lizards and the unexpected Bird.
 The Importance of Scorpions
 Scorpions are very important because they control Insect population. Scorpions are awesome Arachnids.

Animation

We are learning to make a animation on drive in a slide.
Use png to get a transparent background from Explore.
I duplicated the slide then moved the picture a tiny bit. Then it turned out as a animation.
Embed it onto our blog.
Change the HTML to make it move faster, slower and to be endless.
It took lots of patients.
I really enjoyed making this.

Division

Walt Understand Division problems. Like 9x9=81 so 81÷ by 9 = 9 You can solve Division with your times tables. For example: 5÷10 5x what equals 10. Answer 2

OOMPH

We are learning to use the Mask image tool.
 I found it annoying when you add a shape that doesn't fit with your image. I tried the masking tool with gifs and it worked. I would use it again in my work.

One day I was minding my own business on a shelf when a Human tried to squash me! I managed to get away. Revenge! I flew back to the immature human and flew straight into his ear. The human went mad and he tried to kill me again but I got away just in time. When he got in the car to go somewhere I called a flie party. I invited all my friends. After the party I went to sleep in my corner. When I woke up the man was just pulling up in his car. When he came inside he had something like a fizzy drink can in his hand. I read the label it said! Bug spray Kills all flies!!!! I flew straight away and found another house but the same thing happened. It happened for the rest of my life. For my 99th birthday I got an army of flies and we all picked up a can of Bug spray and dropped it on a fire. The can blew up and we all laughed and laughed until we could no more.

First I got a black background then I added all the words. 

I changed the colour and the fonts around.

I used a tool that makes the border colour bigger.

If I needed to know how to spell a word I could use speaker notes.

WALT: write a recount about your school holidays. By Cameron On the first day of the holidays me, Rian and our parents went to Kjerag Norway. On the flight to Norway I was air sick. Rian was sitting next to me and he went straight to the bathroom. There was a bit of turbulence! When we got to Norway we went threw the security check. When we got out of the airport we rented a car and drove to our hotel. The trip to the hotel took two hours. When we got to the hotel we checked in and took our luggage to our room. Our room was huge. It had 4 beds, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, air conditioning and a balcony looking over a nature reserve. Me and Rian ran straight to the balcony and gazed in disbelief at how high we were. The next day we went to the base jumping place. We drove up to the top of a very high cliff. The drive up took 6 hours. We rented another Hotel and waited for the next day for our base jump. While we waited me and Rian made a blanket fort. Then we had a try not to laugh challenge. We both lost by tones. The next day we went to the base jump check in. we had to leave everything. Then they told us to go to the dressing room. When we got to the dressing room we put on the suits and walked to the waiting line. Me and Rian both wanted to go of the swing thing. The swing thing is when they swing this swing really high and you jump. When it was my turn I was shaking really hard. I got swung and I jumped as high as I could. I did some flips then i started gliding. After awhile I got the hang of steering. I glided over to Rian and we started talking but we couldn't hear each other that well. I think Rian was a bit scared because I was. The view was awesome. When we got to the bottom we meet our parents and we got the car and drove back to the Hotel and got our stuff and then we drove back to the airport which took 8 hours.We boarded the plane and we started flying back. I wasn’t sick this time though. When we got back to New Zealand we were all really tired. We all drove home and when I got home I flopped on my bed and fell asleep. When we got to school after the holidays Zade told me he saw me on the plane back from Christchurch. Zade said he was ten rows behind me.

As part of being CyberSmart, we learnt to make self portraits on Google drawing.
(1)We took a picture of ourselves.
(2)  We used the polyline tool to go around the parts of our body.
(3) When finished we deleted our picture of ourselvers so were left with a cartoon looking you.
(4) I used scribble to do my nose.
(5) Then we added a colourful background.
I found it easy in some parts but in others it was hard especially doing my ears.
