Summer Songs

 For today activity I had to list some summer songs. 

I choose some songs I liked and some songs my brother and family liked.

Catapult

 I built the catapult using a toilet paper roll, wooden spoon and some electrical tape.

It works better if you stuff the inside with paper so it doesn't make the toilet paper roll break.

  

I did a test flight with chocolate highly recommended.

The place I want to go to the most is Kaiteriteri because I went there a few years ago and I really liked it.

I chose a route up through Kaikoura to see a whale.

Anti gravity experiments

 For the cup and water experiment the gravity pushing down and the air pushing up, equal each other out,  making the paper stay.

In this pic I'm putting on the card.

Now I'm turning the cup upside down.

Now the paper stays holding the water.

Now for the string and cup experiment: the cup spinning makes the water be forced outwards. However,  the cup's holding the water so it doesn't come out.

My Summer

Most of the pictures are of me doing activities I enjoy doing in the summer.

Some of those activities are, Swimming, Biking, Caving and exploring.

Summer words: Heat, Sunny, light.

My Favourite Place

My Favourite Place is Lake Mahinapua because it's a good place to swim and kayak. The jetty is good for doing flips off. There's also a little island by shore that you can swim out to. It is about 10 mins south from Hokitika. It's part of a beautiful wetland and there are sometimes white heron. The water is warm because the lake's shallow.

I made this boat above.

It floated until I turned the tap on.

TIP: Use tape to hold it together. Also make sure there's no fold at the bottom.

Summer sounds

 Summer Sounds

As the wind blows and the trees rustle, I hear laughing and shouting from joy filled kids,

With the talking from the neighbours out on the deck, The trees rustle,

I start to hear thumping, Then the trees rustle,

Then off goes the wind, and bird song fills the air,

Then the wind comes back but blowing a tune,

A smile crosses my face.

 

Tea cup

 I HATE THIS TASK!!! Because it was too hard and I watched the video 100000000000 times. I got really frustrated. 

Then my dad showed me and I got even more frustrated!

Then my mum said I could just write about how much it sucked. Mum said the important thing is that I write something.

Deep Fake

 It is nearly impossible to tell the difference.

 The one on the right in fake because hes so clean and tidy and its wayyyyyyy easier to change somebody's face if there looking straight at you. 

Its a concern that its so easy to change someone  like put their face on someone else to try to embarrass them or change politics.
