Summer sounds

 Summer Sounds

As the wind blows and the trees rustle, I hear laughing and shouting from joy filled kids,

With the talking from the neighbours out on the deck, The trees rustle,

I start to hear thumping, Then the trees rustle,

Then off goes the wind, and bird song fills the air,

Then the wind comes back but blowing a tune,

A smile crosses my face.

Wow! I am so impressed with your poem! My favourite lines are:

“Then off goes the wind, and bird song fills the air,
Then the wind comes back but blowing a tune”

This is so great! You have used personification and metaphor perfectly! Ka pai Cameron!

I will be marking this as an outstanding blog post so that you well get extra points.

    Keep up the awesome blogging!

    Ngā mihi,

    Charlotte
